Sled draws its character from architecture rather than conventional furniture design. Its defining feature is a pair of continuous solid teak rails that sweep from the front legs backward and upward to form the rear support, creating a silhouette inspired by the graceful curve of a sled runner. The structure is intentionally visible, allowing the geometry of the frame to become the central expression of the chair.
A generously curved barrel back wraps around the sitter in a broad, supportive arc, creating a sense of comfort and enclosure. Upholstered in a refined cool grey fabric, the inner surface softens the architectural precision of the frame while introducing texture and warmth to the seating experience.
The seat is upholstered in the same grey fabric, meeting the backrest with a clean piped edge that emphasizes the chair’s thoughtful detailing.
