Cane does not hide what it is made of. Two full-width rattan drawer fronts span the body of this console, their woven surface open and honest — the material named in the piece, present in the piece, and central to its character. Framed by a dark walnut-finished solid wood body, the natural texture of the rattan gains depth and richness through the contrast of warm brown tones and woven fibre.
The clean geometry of the console is balanced by details that reveal themselves gradually. Four tapered legs angle outward and downward with measured precision, creating a silhouette that feels both grounded and light.
